As a Lower School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting student learning and academic development. Your primary focus will be on assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery to ensure every student receives a high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing classroom support for students in all areas of learning, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Answering questions and supervising students as they work independently or in groups, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting with the planning, preparation, and evaluation of lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in education theory and practice.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an international school setting, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
- Proven track record of working effectively in multilingual classrooms, highlighting your ability to communicate and collaborate with students, teachers, and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Motivated learner who takes responsibility for their own growth and development, continually seeking opportunities for professional learning and improvement.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
