This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the CEO.
In this role, you’ll be in charge of day-to-day operational oversight, managing the teams in charge of recruiting ops, tracking operational metrics, AR/AP and bookkeeping, as well as strategic financial leadership alongside a bookkeeping team and a fractional CFO. This is ideal for someone who has excelled in an ops role at a B2B company, has touched finance, and is ready to lead company-wide operations.
The RoleYou’ll serve as a key partner to the CEO, owning our operational health while ensuring finances run smoothly. You’ll manage a team of 5 direct reports, who manage another 15. Your goal is to help leadership make smarter decisions through data, planning, and streamlined processes. This is a job for someone who wants to one day become a COO, whether here or elsewhere.
What You’ll Do- Operational Oversight: Oversee Recruiting operations, drive process efficiency and alignment with account management.
- Lead project management for process improvements, tool rollouts, and automation initiatives.
- Develop, document, and improve internal processes across teams to support efficient, scalable growth.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to align on growth strategy, forecasting, and operational capacity.
- Automate and streamline workflows using Zapier, HubSpot, ClickUp, and Slack.
- Own budgeting and forecasting, building models that support growth, profitability, and efficiency.
- Manage the Bookkeeping and AR/AP team, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, and clean financials.
- Lead pricing strategy, evaluating cost structures, market trends, and margin opportunities — collaborating with a fractional CFO when needed.
- Analyze cost drivers and ROI across teams and tools; recommend optimizations to improve margins.
- Review and interpret monthly financials (bookkeeping handled by your team); deliver insights to leadership.
- Build dashboards in Google Sheets/Excel for real-time visibility into revenue, expenses, and performance.
- 5-8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a B2B company where you managed an operations team, with at least 5 direct reports and 10 indirect reports

- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting; expert-level in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Tech-savvy — you’ve worked with HubSpot, ClickUp/Asana, Zapier, and similar tools.

- Excellent communicator who can present operational and financial insights clearly and concisely.
- You’ve worked in recruiting/staffing, SaaS or B2B services
- You’re excited to take a cognitive exam in math, verbal, and attention to detail.
- You speak quickly. This is non-negotiable.
