As the LATAM Nutrition BU Quality Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Nutrition Quality Lead is the leading Quality role for our Nutrition BU in LATAM and is responsible for quality governance and leadership of around 130 employees in 5 countries across 10 sites. As the LATAM Nutrition BU Quality Lead you will have full end to end responsibility for the quality function within Nutrition, starting from design and innovation right through to the Sourcing Unit quality teams who are manufacturing our products. You will be working with billion dollar iconic brands such as Knorr and Hellmann's and d will play a key role in the overall Quality Leadership team for LATAM. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Deploy and lead the Nutrition Quality strategy, including governance and goals Have a team of managers across offices and factories across the LATAM region, totalling around 130 employees Lead the Innovation execution, quality risk management and quality improvement tasks, partnering with colleagues in Marketing and R&D Be responsible for supplier quality improvement (working with colleagues in R&D and Procurement) Focus on factory operations, including continuous improvement Be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) compliance within your team Have a strong customer and consumer focus (partnering with colleagues in the Consumer & Markets Insights Team, Marketing and R&D) to really understand our consumers Drive a strong culture of Quality and, as the Head of Quality for Nutrition in LATAM, land & lead Quality culture program activities LEVEL OF EDUCATION NEEDED A food science or engineering degree (or similar, such as Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry etc) would be preferred, but other relevant backgrounds and experiences can also be considered WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Appropriate functional business experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering and / or other supply chain / R&D roles Experience in leading teams and managing senior stakeholders (this role will regularly be interacting with Directors and VPs) Experience of working in / with factories Experience of virtual team working, your team will be based in different time zones and countries, so you must be comfortable with this Experience in change management Strong customer / consumer Quality mind-set Digitally enabled with an aptitude for new technologies Strong communication skills Flexibility to travel – your team and stakeholders are based across Latin & Central America and you will need to spend time at different locations Strong team player Languages: Spanish & Advanced English & Portuguese Intermediate You will also be part of a wider Quality team based all over the world, you will need to have some experience in a similar environment, or be excited by this way of working #J-18808-Ljbffr
