The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while also helping end users who need assistance. Responsibilities Be the first line of support for employees and own the support experience via channels like Slack and Jira. Manage Mac endpoints and enterprise macOS environments; troubleshoot and maintain enterprise IT operations. Procure and deliver technology equipment; manage onboarding for new employees and offboarding for departing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tooling; contribute improvements to knowledge base. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Own improvements to IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, create help articles, and automate routine work. Manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents and issues; prioritize help desk tickets effectively. Work on projects over sprints and document progress in Jira; apply agile methodologies. Set and pursue personal objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. What You Bring To Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; strong API integration skills. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication across media; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Security-minded mindset and familiarity with PGP; solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching). Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and manage multiple priorities; strong organizational skills. Comfort with ambiguity and decision-making with partial data. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS; no certifications required. Experience with GAM and command-line tools to automate tasks. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
