The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code, while also helping end users who need assistance. This role will report to the Director of IT. What You Will Do Be customer-facing and the first line of support; own support via Slack, Jira, and other tools, delivering an outstanding support experience to employees. Proactively troubleshoot, test, and support macOS in an enterprise environment; procure and deliver technology equipment; manage onboarding and offboarding of employees’ devices. Design, test, build, document programs and policies; contribute improvements to knowledge base; support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM) and own improvements to IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, craft help articles, and automate routine tasks; manage incidents end-to-end and prioritize help desk tickets; plan work in sprints using Jira with agile methods. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring To Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (e.g., Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using Bash, Zsh, Python, etc.; experience with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta; work with APIs to integrate systems; remote support across multiple countries and time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly; strong customer-focused mindset and empathy; security-conscious and familiar with PGP. Foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing/switching); methodical troubleshooting across OSI layers; self-management and ability to scope projects across teams; strong organizational and task-management skills; comfort with ambiguity. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and CLI tools; certifications in Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace.
