The Position As a Business Development Director, you will:
Seek out and negotiate partnerships and collaborations. Evaluate market trends and perform due diligence. Negotiate deals that meet commercial goals. Ensure internal alignment and obtain necessary approvals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to approve and implement projects. Work with legal and finance departments to finalize partnership agreements. Engage with potential partners to develop collaboration opportunities. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
a Master’s degreeis preferred. Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken. Extensive experience in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. Proven track record of successfully negotiating and executing partnerships, licensing agreements, and/or acquisitions. In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, including key competitors, market trends, and regulatory environment. Experience in conducting due diligence for potential collaborations or acquisitions. Strong network and relationships in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with legal, finance, marketing, and other relevant departments. Familiarity with market access, pricing, and reimbursement considerations in the pharmaceutical industry. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a business development team and drive results.
