**Position Summary**:
Responsible for delivering aggressive revenue targets in assigned region through key sales activities. The Regional Manager will be a champion in maintaining customer relationships, new business development, product introduction, and business maintenance through direct actions and through reporting team. The role works with end users, channel partners and strategic accounts. The Regional Manager consults with the Channel Director or VP in the creation and execution of Sales strategies and forecasts for the assigned region.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)**:
- Develops and executes sales budget, forecast, and strategic plans for channels in LATAM region.
- Supports and delivers Marketing programs and coordinates campaigns and programs with internal resources, partners organizations and customers.
- Develops and maintains key relationships with partners and prospects through disciplined selling techniques.
- Recruits, develops, and optimizes individual performance within the Sales team, which may include both Sales Account Managers and/or Sales Engineers. Assesses skill, effort, and effectiveness among team members and employs corrective/supportive activities as required. Ensures and supports use of effective sales techniques throughout the team.
- Assists regional sales directors in setting individual account strategies, performance objectives, and channel sales programs.
- Develops and maintains effective communications and liaison relationships with staff and field personnel that support effective achievement of regional and corporate goals.
- Liaises with Regional Sales Directors to ensure a consistent, unified face to the customer and NETSCOUT Sales personnel.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations to improve sales methods, organization, coverage, and expenses.
- Evaluates market needs and trends and coordinates with marketing, engineering, product management, and corporate functions to best serve the market in order to implement the right partner program according with the LATAM market needs.
- Substantial travel within the LATAM region and occasionally beyond is required.
**Education Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA desirable.
**Experience Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic sales plans in the market, implement partner programs, selling large-investment software products.
- Relevant technical competency in network products to enable recognition and competent discussion of issues and their solutions.
- Track record of exceptional and consistent quota achievement through management of a region.
- 5 - 10+ years of relevant field sales experience in networking/network management technologies.
- 3 - 5+ years leading a successful Sales Team, strong motivator and creative/effective coach.
- Demonstrated communication skills with a focus on effective presentation of NETSCOUT's value proposition.
- Substantial travel within region and occasionally beyond is required
**Physical Demands**:
While performing the duties of this job, you regularly will be required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift company products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
