Gas Technology Equipment (GTE) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Instrument Control Engineering team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.
**Partner with the best**
As a Senior Technical Sales you'll be responsible for selling Upgrades in GTE Regions including new opportunities generated by the DTI & Advisory Service and the Platform Management organization. You'll cooperate with Latam Sales teams providing them assistance in identifying the best solutions for customer needs while maximizing TPS profitability.
As a Senior Technical Sales GTE, you will be responsible for:
- Promoting the business value proposition of Baker Hughes technology.
- Working close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff. Primary technical role involved in DTI (demand to inquiry): aim at increasing market penetration through technical support during pre-ITO.
- Handling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products and systems will be used.
- Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally. Technical, economical, logístical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
- Handling important business unit clients
- Coordinating sales teams involving engineering, legal, risk, finance etc.
- Handling big or challenging markets or multi country
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
- Good experience in Technical Sales
- Have significant experience in a commercial or service role across GTE fleet for product and services.
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of a wide product range: Gas turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbine, Controls, Reciprocating Compressors
- Show excellent knowledge of Oil and Gas market dynamics & customer processes.
- Be a motivated self-starter with a result-oriented mindset and an ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English and Portuguese
- Show willingness and ability to travel frequently.
