Overview

Distribution Specialist, Small and Medium Business (SMB) role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The SMB Distribution sales specialist will be responsible for establishing strategies and execution of initiatives through the Distribution Channel and their resellers to increase adoption of AWS in the rapidly growing SMB market. This includes developing partner and customer offers, plays, points of entry, and customer and partner programs in Brazil, enabling partners to accelerate SMBs' journey to the cloud. The scope includes defining the go-to-market in this space by identifying market opportunities and current partner and customer challenges, curating existing initiatives across Amazon, and building relevant offers to be deployed through the Distribution channels to SMBs.

In this role, you will work on challenging problems that require creative solutions, build processes, and challenge assumptions. You should be comfortable delivering projects with a high degree of ownership while resolving market and operational issues. Strong written and verbal communication, an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others, and a passion for technology are essential. You will develop relationships with a wide group of stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Establish strategies and execute initiatives through the Distribution Channel and resellers to increase AWS adoption in the SMB market. Develop partner and customer offers, plays, and entry points, and design customer and partner programs in Brazil. Define the go-to-market approach by identifying opportunities and challenges, curate initiatives across Amazon, and create offers to deploy via Distribution channels to SMBs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and drive adoption among SMBs.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
