Join to apply for the Manager, Business Development role at Sovos Latinoamérica What You’ll Do Sovos is looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead a world-class SaaS Business Development team. The ideal candidate is experienced in building and managing Business Development Representatives in the software sales industry space. This role requires a self-starter who can work across organizational boundaries, build relationships across the company, and drive the development of the team. The candidate should have high energy to motivate the team daily, be experienced in managing and executing a pipeline, handling objections, coaching, and managing projects from conception through implementation. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are a must. The role reports to the Sr Director of Business Development and is critical to our sales and marketing operations and to the company as a whole. Hire, train, and lead a team of hybrid (inbound & outbound) BDRs to ensure steady pipeline contribution Drive outbound pipeline generation strategies to help BDRs create high-quality opportunities Manage timely BDR follow-up on marketing campaigns to qualify and develop opportunities Work closely with marketing, sales, and sales/marketing operations to ensure alignment on your team\'s strategy and execution Optimize team performance through coaching, enablement, and data-driven decisions Build and sustain a culture of high performance and accountability, meeting and exceeding targets Provide growth opportunities for SDRs to develop into full-cycle sales representatives Act as a mentor and coach while maintaining a positive and motivational work environment If based in Sao Paulo – expected to be in the office at least 1 day a week What We Need From You Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (written & spoken) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of 6+ BDRs Proven track record of exceeding pipeline targets while leading inbound and outbound teams Deep knowledge of prospecting strategies, lead qualification processes, and sales development best practices Strong experience with sales tech stack (CRM, sales engagement, intent data, and prospecting tools) Excellent coaching, communication, and organizational skills with executive presence Data- and metrics-driven approach to performance management and strategy People leadership: hands-on coaching, feedback, and support to help BDR team members grow Strategic execution: translates business objectives into actionable plans, aligning team efforts with pipeline and revenue goals Technology proficiency: skilled in Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Nav/ZoomInfo Self-motivated: comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Conflict management: approaches tough conversations with empathy, objectivity, and clarity What Sovos Offers You Flexible Time-Off Bi-Weekly Meeting Free Days Mentoring Programs Globally recognized Training and Development programs Virtual English Club through Rosetta Stone, and more Sovos is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an environment that celebrates diversity and where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees.
