Job Opportunity:
Senior accountants play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency across various industries. We are seeking an experienced senior accountant to manage our company's financial activities on a part-time basis.
This role involves overseeing the full accounts receivable cycle, including receiving and processing client agreements, generating and sending invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, encompassing receipt and processing of vendor bills, routing invoices for approval, and addressing payment discrepancies when necessary.
Key responsibilities include conducting weekly bank reconciliations, assisting with credit card and expense report reconciliation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as required. Monthly tasks involve executing timely and accurate month-end close processes, including bank reconciliations, prepaid expense schedules, accruals, deferrals, depreciation and amortization schedules, and identifying revenue leakage opportunities.
Applicants should possess strong proficiency in English, with proven experience in accounting and financial close processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel is mandatory, while familiarity with Bill.com is an added advantage. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with effective communication skills are essential qualities for this role.
