Financial Operations Specialist

The role of Financial Operations Specialist is a strategic position that requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to interact with both local and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and tax closing activities in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor financial entries throughout the month and resolve operational or system-related discrepancies.
  • Prepare, review, and submit financial reports using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, adhering to headquarters' consolidation timelines.
  • Deliver complete and accurate Reporting Packages to HQ on a regular basis.
  • Submit monthly Cash Flow Reports in ERP systems.
  • Manage IFRS 16 processes and coordinate related entries with BPOs based on HQ guidelines.
  • Maintain provision spreadsheets for Bonuses, Commissions, Variable Rent , and other expenses.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy with BPO partners.
  • Support External Audits and Transfer Pricing Reviews .
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses and account breakdowns as requested.
  • Collaborate with global teams to clarify technical accounting queries and validate classifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration , or a related field.
  • Mandatory: Experience with Linx ERP .
  • Preferred: Familiarity with HFM and other ERP systems.
  • Strong background in accounting/tax closing and IFRS compliance .
  • Experience in multinational companies and reporting to global headquarters.
  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in data management and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Languages: Intermediate to advanced English and/or Spanish .
