ICB) is the newest JPMC line of business, supported by a diverse team of Compliance professionals. The Compliance function has a robust set of priorities in place focused on best practice and employee development to ensure goals are delivered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of both (i) the JPMC Brazil Compliance team and (ii) the ICB Compliance team (based predominantly in the UK), assisting in the implementation of the ICB Compliance Program. This includes acting as the second line of defence providing challenge to the business on a range of issues related to JPMC's investment in C
  • Advise colleagues in the frontoffice, business management, Compliance/Compliance Practices, Internal Audit, and Risk in relation to Brazilian retail financial services compliance issues and payments issues.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and tests as required.
  • Compiling management information and analysing trends.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of a training and communication program to ensure that employees are familiar with relevant requirements
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of current and future Brazilian retail financial services regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (work experience in the field of retail banking in Brazil).
  • Excellent knowledge of Brazilian retail banking regulations and significant experience of payments regulations
  • Significant experience in a Control, Compliance, Legal, Risk or Audit related environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese. Strong verbal and written communications skills, in particular, being able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely
  • Be comfortable interacting with, and presenting to, senior business management and control functions.
  • Selfdirected, proactive, and creative: uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done with limited direction, supervision, or resources.
