Safety Operations Senior Manager

Job Description:
As the Safety Operations Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building the future of safety response operations. You will be responsible for build and overseeing critical incident emergencies, managing internal teams and business process outsourcing (BPO) related to safety operations, and ensuring optimal safety performance through effective management of metrics and KPIs. Your leadership will be essential in creating, implementing, and continuously improving safety policies, procedures, and protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for crises management to maintain a secure and responsive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build a Lead the response operations to critical incidents, emergencies, and crises, ensuring fast, effective, and structured resolution.
• Develop strategic plans to enhance response capabilities and minimize risk.
• Monitor safety performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate internal teams and vendor performance based on established SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Implement data-driven approaches to assess and boost operational effectiveness.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external partners and vendors, fostering transparent and trust-based relationships.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety principles are embedded across all business operations.
• Develop and execute crisis management plans, including contingency strategies and communication protocols.
• Oversee the reporting, documentation, and investigation of safety incidents and near misses.
Requirements:
- Experience in safety operations management in similar size and business, critical incident management, or a related field, preferably within the logistics, delivery, transportation, or technology sectors.
- High energy and motivational leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of large scale safety response operations, operations management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to lead under pressure and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in safety operations management and emergency response.
- Expertise in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage BPO partnerships effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills to drive performance metrics management.
- Experience in crises management and strategic planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
