The Account Manager - Territory is responsible for direct sales to a specific market region with business in Oil&Gas and Refinery its follow up and control of the business development and service / product commercialization activities. Incumbent will be responsible for developing new customers at his geography scope, gaining market share from competitor and/or identifying untapped market, thus developing new applications under current customer portfolio.

This position is part of the Latam FTAP Team and will be located in Rio de Janeiro. Reporting to Brazil Sales Manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create and execute a territory plan, ensuring we win new customers, retain our base business, and expand our footprint in existing accounts to expand revenue growth.
  • Progress sales funnel and sales advances with onsite sales calls.
  • Conduct annual customer business reviews of top accounts and assist in managing escalated accounts in coordination with regional support team.
  • Maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities and forecast in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Deliver highest value proposals to meet customers' needs while meeting company growth objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Background in technology/equipment companies with more than 5 years of progressive experience in technical sales and industrial functions. Must have experience in dealing with customers on sales negotiations and technical issues.
  • Must have industrial process knowledge (experience with O&G business and Refinery market can be a differential). Knowledge on Petrobras Petronect quote process is desire.
  • Advanced in English.
  • Availability for travels.
  • Availability to works off-shore on platform visits and tests.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


• Sales Force tools knowledge can be a differential.


• Desired courses: Selling skills, Presentation skills, Negotiating skills.
