The Opportunity

This position works out of our São Paulo Site on our Core Diagnostic Division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.

As a Technical Solution Design (TSD) Manager , you'll be responsible for driving best in class assumption based commercial planning processes, tools and behaviors for Alinity and compliance Profitability guidance. By utilizing available data sets, the role will support Marketing and commercial teams on the development, implementation and effectiveness monitoring of relevant ADD Marketing plan and financial commitment

What You'll Do

Primary Function

This position is responsible for strategic sales and technical execution of the Technical Lab Solutions which will include but not be limited to:

  • Laboratory systems
  • Laboratory Automation
  • Workflow Consultancy
  • Informatics and Service Solution

This position leads the Technical Specialists and Consulting teams associated with strategic businesses to support the Enterprise Acquisition Sales team and has full accountability for direct sales and support initiatives at the country level.
The Technical Solution Design (TSD) Manager will report to the Area Technical Solution Design (TSD) Manager.

This position will work closely with the Enterprise Solutions Director / Manager to manage Acquisition opportunities and execute sales process and with Customer Experience teams in both the acquisition and renewal process following the Strategic Account Management (SAM) process.

The TSD Manager will work closely with the Start team staff (Implementation & Integration), Sales & Service Training, Contracts & Pricing, Customer Service, and Regional Sales & Customer Experience Management.

Working with the Country Sales teams, this position will qualify opportunities, create and implement strategies, leverage and develop all necessary sales, consulting and technical tools and programs to optimize sales opportunities and deliver Abbott Diagnostics Value Proposition to our customers.

Qualify opportunities with sales teams and allocate resources only to those opportunities that are consistent with CoreDX's overall commercial strategy.

Maintain fiscal responsibility and complete each year under expense plan with a primary goal of exceeding each year's sales and margin plan.

Provide leadership through direction, motivation, coaching, and skill development as well as product, industry, competitive and company knowledge.

Work with LAC and Local Marketing to create, implement and communicate technical solutions, automation and workflow consulting strategy, business plans and vision.

Set goals and monitor progress of the team.

Maintain a diverse and motivated team of specialists and consultants.

Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback on performance, and provide coaching to minimize gaps and prepare the employee to meet personal and company goals.

Required Qualifications

Degree completed in Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Biology, Nursing), Engineering, Administration

Fluent English
