As we expand our footprint in South America, we are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Director to lead our business development and sales efforts in the region.

Position Overview:
The Sales Director South America will be responsible for developing and executing AEW Automotive’s go-to-market and growth strategy across Brazil and the broader South American region.
The focus will initially be on new business acquisition and strategic relationship building with automotive OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers. This role requires a dynamic hunter personality with strong industry knowledge, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to establish AEW as a trusted partner in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a regional sales and business development strategy aligned with AEW’s global objectives.
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 automotive customers in South America.
Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships to drive sustainable growth.
Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, emerging technologies, and potential business partners.
Collaborate closely with AEW’s global engineering, product, and operations teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Represent AEW at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences across the region.
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights to the global leadership team.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 6+ years of experience in sales or business development within the automotive industry , ideally with international exposure.
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of automotive supply chains and OEM/Tier 1 ecosystems in South America.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Fluent in Portuguese and English ; Spanish is a plus.
Willingness to travel across South America as needed.
