The Business:

We have a dedicated Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice that delivers global resources, analytical insights, and insurance market relationships. Our team comprises former Tech Company Risk Managers, TMT industry specialists, and experienced insurance brokers who understand your industry, the insurance marketplace, and the unique issues faced in the digital age. With seven Centers of Excellence worldwide, our priorities are to leverage powerful insights and innovation to support your business and help achieve your goals. We serve over 7,000 technology clients globally, including many among the F500 and F1000.

Job Overview:

  • You will help create and deliver WTW's TMT Industry proposition.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Client Management to build a value-driven TMT-specific prospect and client engagement strategy.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the TMT industries and share insights with our Corporate Risk & Broking teams.
  • Build and monitor a pipeline of TMT prospects in partnership with sales specialists.
  • Ensure high-quality TMT tender responses showcasing WTW's solutions.
  • Use data and analytics to bring innovative solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Manage the daily TMT sales team in South China, applying your team management experience to achieve annual targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities among multinational companies in China, prepare presentations and proposals as needed.
  • Target new TMT accounts and promote cross-selling within TMT sectors.
  • Provide insurance brokerage and consulting services to Willis's network clients, addressing client issues with the team.
  • Ensure service quality for designated accounts, lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare underwriting documentation and negotiate terms with insurers.
  • Maximize client profitability through efficient service delivery and cross-selling.
  • Maintain relationships with key insurance carriers and network offices.
  • Assist in fee negotiations and setting commission levels with insurers.
  • Prepare market presentations and collaborate with client service teams to secure optimal terms.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, including travel as necessary.
Qualifications

The Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in the non-life insurance sector, preferably with a multinational insurance company or broker.
  • Deep knowledge of the TMT industry sectors, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience servicing global accounts is preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Understanding of various general insurance products and placements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead client service teams to meet business objectives.
  • Client-oriented with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.
