Position Overview:
The People & Culture Business Partner serves as a key member of the People & Culture team, supporting employees and leaders across our residential property management portfolio. This role is responsible for administering core HR programs and providing frontline support in the areas of employee relations, HR administration & compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted resource for team members and leaders on HR-related inquiries, policies, and best practices; support investigations and resolution of employee concerns in partnership with HR leadership; promote a positive work culture and employee engagement across sites.
- HR Administration & Compliance: Support the administration of the HR Service Delivery in Dayforce (HR Cases); maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files; support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies; assist in audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Performance Management: Assist in tracking performance review cycles and developmental plans; help coordinate training sessions, policy rollouts, and compliance education; provide support to managers in coaching, documentation, and progressive discipline processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of HR experience; prior experience in residential property management or a multi-site field environment a plus
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations specific to California (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
- Ability to travel to sites occasionally as needed

Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year USD
