Responsibilities
  • Act as a team lead for Patient Account functions under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager
  • Oversee billing and collection activities for Patient Accounts Receivable, including copay/deductibles and self-pay patients
  • Communicate with patients regarding overdue balances and payment arrangements
  • Prepare adjustments to patient balances after collection efforts are exhausted
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, third-party contracts, and company policies
Qualifications
  • Home infusion therapy experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical and billing collections experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CPR+ system preferred
  • Excellent math and writing skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in providing customer service to internal and external customers
