As the leader of Uber's Marketplace Operations team in Argentina, you will shape and scale our platform across a dynamic, multi-sided marketplace. Your work will directly impact the experience of users, driving operational excellence and platform reliability. We are looking for a strategic and innovative operator with a passion for solving complex problems at scale, with a strong track record of operational execution, cross-functional stakeholder leadership, and people management. You will inspire and develop a team of Operations Managers while designing solutions that optimize the balance of supply and demand in one of the world's most sophisticated platforms. This is a high-impact role where you will craft and execute strategies that affect pricing, engagement, growth, and overall marketplace health.

What The Candidate Will Do
  • Lead and scale a high-performing, fast-paced operations team focused on delivering a best-in-class marketplace experience.
  • Set the vision, strategy, and operational roadmap for the Argentinean Marketplace Operations org, aligning team OKRs with Uber's broader business goals.
  • Drive operational excellence across the lifecycle—from acquisition to engagement and retention—optimizing reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Policy & Communications, Legal, Local and Central Operations teams to align on priorities and deliver results.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions across key levers like batching, dispatch, pricing, and supply initiatives that improve the health of the overall marketplace.
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, finance, or technology.
  • 1+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Critical thinking and analytical rigour, with experience dealing with data (reports, experiments, pricing models) and scaling processes.
  • Experience with data-based decision-making, good judgment in ambiguous circumstances, and effective cross-functional communication.
  • Strong Excel skills; other database experience is helpful. Comfortable learning and using new software tools (e.g., SQL).
Bonus points
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, business development, or related fields, ideally in high-growth or tech environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects to completion.
  • Strong business judgment with a data-informed approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of platform dynamics and the ability to optimize across different sides of a marketplace.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering culture, and driving career development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in priorities alignment and trade-off proposals.
  • User-focused mindset, seeking to improve the overall experience for all platform participants.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Ability to abstract from day-to-day operations to design a high-level strategy while also diving deep into problem-solving when needed.
