Business Development Manager

Overview

Drive strategic business growth in Brazil across two specialized tracks: Credit Finance Technology and Financial Institutions (FI) Partnerships. Leverage market insights, regulatory expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to expand market presence, build scalable partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions aligned with global fintech objectives.

Track 1: Credit Finance Technology

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute competitive business models for credit technology solutions, focusing on risk management, profitability, and scalable growth.
  • Lead negotiations with banks, fintechs, e-commerce platforms, and data providers to establish long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities, build entry barriers, and optimize ROI for credit-related products.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, product, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects and regulatory adherence.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance, optimizing user engagement, conversion rates, and client retention to maximize business value.
  • Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and data security requirements to develop localized credit solutions for the Brazilian market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; credit business background is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in banking, fintech, or related fields.

Position Overview:

B2B BD, Benefits plan; Telecommunications, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential partners, including telecom companies, e-commerce platforms, healthcare institutions, and other relevant service providers.
  • Structure win-win commercial models (revenue sharing, co-marketing, data monetization) and develop a BD playbook including partnership tiers, incentive structures, and exclusivity clauses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to foster collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Analyze partnership strategies of local players and conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape.
  • Analyze and report on business development efforts, providing insights into partnership strategies and outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to integrate partner services into the Cartão de Kwai platform and collaborate with marketing on joint campaigns.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly in the B2B market.
  • Strong understanding of the telecommunications, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Native-level Portuguese + advanced English
