Key responsibilities:

Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview of the role: We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. This professional will be responsible for identifying and assessing the different profiles (Technical and Non-technical). We are looking for proactive, dynamic people and team players, with great organizational capacity, accustomed to handling multiple tasks, and with marked attention to detail. Key responsibilities:

  • Review online information of candidates to assess their general fit.
  • Contact candidates through phone calls, Skype, LinkedIn, or mail to validate their interest and motivate them to participate in our process.
  • Schedule internal interviews, send the invites, and keep the system records updated.
  • Interview candidates to assess their qualifications by validating their profile, experience, interests, commitment, and logic and common sense questions.
  • Schedule and confirm technical interviews.
  • Follow up with the candidates throughout the process.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ previous years of work experience. Previous experience in recruiting roles is a plus.
  • Good communication skills, especially in listening and persuasion.
  • Time management and organization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constant changes.
  • Working experience in online and phone sales techniques (is a plus).
  • Knowledge in IT Industry head-hunting (is a plus).

About The Role: As our People Business Partner, you will be instrumental in leading people development and organizational planning for your client teams at YipitData. You will work closely with senior executives, people managers and their direct reports to support departments across the organization. This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit anywhere in Colombia or Brazil.

We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner who can navigate the complex situations that come with rapidly growing teams. We need someone who is able to both advise and own the build of team processes and structures that enable us to scale. As our strategic advisor you will care deeply about maintaining our strong culture and developing our people. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and implement programs and processes from scratch that will have a substantial impact on each person, and our company.

As Our People Business Partner You Will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to help run and improve key people processes including promotion, compensation, performance management, and learning & development.
  • Assist in the creation of org structures that will scale, working with department heads, managers, and FP&A to identify needs, pain points, communication strategies, and succession plans.
  • Strengthen the management bench on your teams by providing guidance, cross-functional perspectives and 360 feedback.
  • Coach the employees of your teams on their development, career pathing, and ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Partner with Legal and People Operations teams in handling any complex employee relations issues and identify/implement resolutions or policies as needed
  • Assure that YipitData's culture, values, and engagement initiatives align with your work
  • Identify and solve inefficiencies to scale the impact of our People Partner team

You Are Likely to Succeed If:

  • You have 4+ years of experience in an HRBP, Generalist, or Employee Relations role at a fast-paced tech or SaaS company
  • You've partnered directly with senior leaders (Director+), providing coaching and strategic guidance
  • You have experience supporting global teams and navigating cross-cultural People practices
  • You've led or supported performance and engagement cycles (e.g., reviews, surveys, stay interviews)
  • You're comfortable managing sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment
  • You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and build trust at all levels
  • You're resourceful, proactive, and thrive in fast-changing environments
  • You think big-picture while executing effectively on day-to-day priorities
  • Conversational English level
  • Bonus if you've supported Engineering, Product, or G&A teams
  • Extra bonus if you've built career paths or development plans for technical or client-facing roles

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our recruitment efforts to bring in the right talent across multiple roles. To support this, we are looking for a Virtual Assistant – Recruitment Support who will help us source, screen, and coordinate with candidates and agencies worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and screen the majority of incoming CVs from job boards, and local channels.
  • Request and collect 1-minute self-introduction video presentations from candidates.
  • Send pre-defined tests/assignments to shortlisted applicants.
  • Prepare and present a shortlist of candidates for interviews with HR.
  • As per request conduct brief initial interviews to check communication skills and basic fit.
  • Write to and coordinate with recruitment agencies for potential collaboration.
  • Create and publish job postings on Facebook, Telegram, and other local community channels.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English (Spanish/Portuguese is a plus).
  • Strong organization & follow-up skills to manage many candidates simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) or similar.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior experience working as a recruitment assistant or HR VA.
  • Ability to conduct structured video interviews with candidates.
  • Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) or simple recruitment CRMs.
