All about the role:
At Electrolux, we have five global product lines: Fabric Care, Dish Care, Food Preparation, Food Preservation, and Home Comfort. Within each product line, the Product Line teams are responsible for developing product portfolios to boost our brands, create competitive advantages, and grow the business. They are dedicated, client-centered and dynamic teams, working closely across functions to deliver relevant consumer experiences to global and local markets.
What you'll do:
As a Regional Category Manager, you will can own a product from idea to implementation and beyond, mobilizing resources from production line to after sales to not only deliver for consumers, but to stay one step ahead of their lifestyle needs. In detail, you will:
- Drive new product development projects in innovation triangles together with R&D, Marketing and Design, supporting the Project Lifecycle from cradle to grave (e. g. opportunities, concepts, specs, etc.);
- Drive a consumer-based Innovation Territories strategic framework with a structured approach for meaningful innovation, understanding pain points, selecting key benefits, developing enablers and sustaining with tangible claims;
- Support product messaging, giving input to Brand & Marketing for messaging and Commercial Launch Plan definition;
- Bring frontloading to Generation Plan, based on Consumer Insights, Market development, and Brand Attributes, monitoring market, competitors and financial development as relevant to the category;
- Implement Sustainability Action Plan and define necessary metrics, identifying implemented actions;
- Collaborate with Fabric and Dish Care range technology and democratization roadmap, supporting definitions such as target claims, unique selling proposition, primary and secondary benefits, etc.;
- Lead external partnership strategy and X functions alignment, in order to support the process of improving CX Innovation;
- Implement Electrolux's innovation approach as standard way of working in the category across the region, identifying phases required for each project in the Generation Plan;
- Collaborate with product category Strategic Plan as part of the overall Product Line Strategic Plan;
- Build and execute the Integrated Experience Planning (IXP) for the category;
- Drive new business opportunities and address gaps, working with different areas across Electrolux.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent;
- Solid experience in product development and innovation processes;
- Solid experience with product and portfolio management;
- Experience with P&L analysis;
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
- Advanced Office skills (Excel, Power Point);
- Advanced English;
- Advanced Spanish.
