Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a leading CDMO specializing in gene therapy, who is seeking a driven and technically competent Medical Sales Representative to join its commercial team in Brazil. This is a field-based role focused on building strong relationships, promoting specialized biologic and gene therapy services, and expanding market presence. Medical Sales Representative - Responsibilities: Visit hospitals, clinics, biotech & pharmaceutical companies to promote the CDMO’s gene therapy / vector development / GMP manufacturing capabilities Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, research institutions, procurement teams, and decision-makers in the gene therapy and advanced biologics space Execute sales plans and develop territory strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, proposals, and contract wins Clearly communicate technical service offerings, differentiators, turnaround times, quality standards, and compliance credentials to prospective clients Collaborate with Business Development, Technical/Process Development, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure proposals, quotations, and customer expectations are aligned with service and regulatory capabilities Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, client needs, and customer feedback; feed insights back intomarketing/sales strategy Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, visit reports, and territory performance metrics Medical Sales Representative - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotech, or related field 2-4 years of proven sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, biotech, or medical devices; experience in CDMO or advanced therapy services is a strong plus Solid understanding of biologics / gene therapy manufacturing services, GMP, regulatory / quality requirements, and value drivers in this specialized space Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain technical services to scientific and commercial audiences Portuguese fluency required; English proficiency strongly preferred; ability to travel within assigned territory frequently Based in Brazil, with legal authorization to work Mantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Science headhunting firm.
