Product Development Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Development professional with a strong background in product development for high volume products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product development stages, including 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies and BOM creation.
  • Contribute as a team member in the development of new home appliances with a focus on innovation, quality, performance and user-centered design.
  • Manage technical documentation, including manuals, assembly instructions and service documentation.
  • Apply Lean methodologies for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Color, Material & Finish (CMF) and UX/UI teams.
  • Support product industrialization initiatives, aiming for cost reduction, zero-defect initiatives and faster time-to-market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proven experience in industrial product development.
  • Strong experience in 2D and 3D modeling, preferably Siemens NX.
  • Material selection knowledge for plastic and metallic components.
  • Experience in plastics molds, stamping dies and manufacturing tooling validation.
  • Knowledge of PLM and SAP systems, MasterData and BOM structuring.
