Overview

Senior Product Development - Home Appliances role at Versuni. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Development professional with a strong background in product development for high volume products, preferably consumer goods for home appliances. This professional will be responsible for product development across all stages, including 3D modelling, detailed 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, and release of components and products. The role aims to foster innovation, production efficiency, and strategic alignment between marketing, design concept, testing, quality, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage product development stages: 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies; BOM creation; technical and business feasibility analysis; prototyping and design for manufacturing (DFM); components and products validation; support for try-outs.
  • Contribute as a team member in the development of new home appliances with a focus on innovation, quality, performance, and user-centered design.
  • Manage technical documentation, including manuals, assembly instructions, and service documentation.
  • Apply Lean methodologies (DFA, FMEA, failure analysis, root cause analysis) for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Color, Material & Finish (CMF), and UX/UI teams.
  • Support product industrialization initiatives, aiming for cost reduction, zero-defect initiatives, and faster time-to-market.
  • Participate in technical validations during domestic and international travel, ensuring excellence in commissioning new tooling.
  • Industrialization projects involving multiple products (plastic injection, metal stamping, assemblies, etc.).
  • Full development of new products, manufacturing assemblies, plastic, metallic and similar components from ideation to release to market.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in industrial product development.
  • Strong experience in 2D and 3D modelling (preferably Siemens NX).
  • Material selection knowledge for plastic and metallic components.
  • Experience in plastics molds, stamping dies, and manufacturing tooling validation.
  • Knowledge of PLM and SAP systems, MasterData, and BOM structuring.
  • Advanced English; availability for domestic and international travel.

  • Experience in development of power electrical products, validations and certification (e.g., for blenders, food processors, air fryers, fans).
