We're looking for a seasoned leader to join our team as a Senior Manager. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead our Piracicaba Distribution Center, managing logistics activities using Lean principles to provide safe, compliant, and efficient results.

  • Maintain a Safety Focused culture and work environment.
  • Ensure security and compliance requirements are consistently met.
  • Lead day-to-day operations with support from management.
  • Develop and implement policies and programs that drive organizational competitiveness and profitability.
  • Manage operations performance to meet KPIs and financial targets.
  • Oversee distribution operation processes, including receiving, storage, order filling, packing, shipping, quality control, inspection, inventory counts, and related functions.
  • Develop and implement changes to improve performance.
  • Prepare budgets and objectives, as well as various reports.
  • BUILD COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH DEALERS, SUPPLIERS, CONTRACTORS, INTERNAL CUSTOMERS, PROCESS PARTNERS, AND THE COMMUNITY.
  • Responsible for all employee-related activities at the facility.
  • Work with the HR Manager to recruit, select, develop, and train staff.
  • Maintain site property and oversee maintenance and janitorial services.
  • Purchase and maintain equipment, vehicles, and procure office and storeroom supplies.
  • Work with the management team to develop/review operational procedures and quality plans to ensure compliance with local government requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects.
  • Warehouse Management: Knowledge of warehouse management policies, processes, and systems; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers.
  • Distribution Center Management: Knowledge of distribution processes, issues, and considerations; ability to effectively manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to stores and/or customers.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management processes and methods; ability to effectively manage organization's materials, commodities, merchandises, or products.
  • Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics management processes, tools, and operational considerations; ability to understand, predict, and control the movement of goods, materials, and supplies.
  • Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of supply chain management functions, principles, and techniques; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices, and tools for controlling the whole processes.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering
  • Pre-Advanced English

  • Previous experience leading and managing direct reports.
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing financial and operating statements.
  • Previous experience fostering a learning culture, leading with Lean principles.
  • Robust multi-functional background in plant operations, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Previous experience developing and owning a positive facility culture and employee experience.
  • Demonstrated values-based leadership experience in leading large teams.

This position requires working on-site five days a week.
