This is a critical leadership role that combines technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. We seek an individual who can drive the development of data pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and promote a data-driven culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive team to build and maintain data pipelines for multiple areas of the company;
  • Own the pipelines under your supervision;
  • Identify opportunities to better organize data and information throughout the company;
  • Collaborate with data product managers to build excellent data products;
  • Help build and maintain corporate data visualization dashboards;
  • Help spread a data-driven mindset and improve data literacy;
  • Be a data evangelist;
  • Understand business rules that model the business and help team translate them to code (SQL / Python);
  • Hire people to compose the team and deliver maximum value;
  • Help people grow in both soft and hard skills;
  • Embody the culture of the organization and lead by example;
  • Create and improve processes and practices within the team and its frontiers.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence, analytics, or other data-related areas;
  • Experience with SQL;
  • Experience with python, R or another programming language;
  • Excellent communication skills, capacity to collaborate and build relationships with non-technical users;
  • Experience with agile methodologies;
  • Experience managing people;
  • Previous experience with people analytics.
