Job Overview

The Marketing Coordinator role at a leading hospitality company involves working with the Director of Business Development or Marketing Manager to assist in implementing a marketing plan that boosts hotel brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with target markets about hotel amenities and benefits, including refurbishments, food and beverage offerings, conference, banqueting, and events.
  • Collaborate with local third-party partners, such as media outlets, and maintain professional relationships with local authorities.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system tailored to the hotel's target audience.
  • Foster close ties across all hotel departments to identify opportunities for proactive promotions and planned activities addressing specific business challenges.
  • Support the development of promotional activities, marketing channels, and production of marketing materials for specific events.
  • Promote the hotel on Hilton-branded websites.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key business indicators and competitive trends, along with approaches to address these challenges.
  • Show intermediate-level IT skills.
  • Exhibit proven organizational and planning abilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure at all times.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the hotel or leisure sector.
  • Background in marketing within a similar environment.
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost management.
  • Relevant degree in marketing, business development, or a related field from a reputable academic institution.
