Job Overview

The Billing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving billing operations to effectively manage trade collections and support business growth.

This position involves coordinating and managing day-to-day activities of the billing team, fostering an exceptional performing unit to drive billing results and boost efficiency.

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the general accounting function.
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Concerning primarily the accuracy and maintenance of ledger accounts and resultant financial statements.
  • May participate in complex general accounting projects.
  • Responsible for direct supervision of the general accounting staff.
  • Responsible for managing escalations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly metric reporting and analysis on overall billing performance and individual collection resource performance.
  • Ensure adequate processes are in place to maintain controls and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and other functional leaders to drive order-to-cash excellence across businesses.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with EDI, third-party portal applications, work-order processing.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Understanding of workforce management techniques and strategies.
  • Professional leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate multiple software applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Able to resolve problems independently and take timely action.
  • Experience manipulating data sets and merging data.
  • Previous analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, anticipate needs, and meet customer expectations.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and 4+ years of operational or managerial experience. Project management experience is also desirable.
