About the Role:
The tax management professional will oversee all aspects of corporate taxation, ensuring compliance with local and international laws while optimizing the company's tax position.
This dynamic role involves handling tax planning, reporting, and risk management, collaborating closely with other departments to drive efficiencies.
- Manage direct and indirect taxes, including timely preparation and filing of tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), such as PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.
- Monitor tax compliance processes and work with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.
- Coordinate federal, state, and municipal tax audits, liaising with auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Analyze changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning;
- Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders;
Language Skills:
- Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.
