Regional Business Director

This role leads regional strategy for Latin America, driving e-commerce growth through market analysis and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the export ecosystem and digital transformation.

  • Market Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute e-commerce growth strategy to drive supplier acquisition, activation, and export readiness.
    • Analyze local market trends, competitor dynamics, and policy changes to inform business decisions.
  • Team & Organizational Leadership:
    • Build and lead high-performing teams across business development, marketing, customer success, and operations.
    • Establish a strong performance culture and ensure alignment with global goals and values.
  • Business Development & Partnerships:
    • Identify and develop key industry verticals and top-tier exporters (SMEs and large manufacturers).
    • Forge partnerships with industry associations, export agencies, and logistics/fintech partners to build a strong ecosystem.
  • P&L & Performance Management:
    • Own P&L responsibility, including growth targets, sales metrics, user acquisition, and retention KPIs.
    • Implement data-driven management practices to track performance and optimize ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Act as the bridge between teams in Latin America and HQ teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
    • Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product localization and platform optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce industry or digital B2B trade.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and driving business growth in Latin America.
  • Strong understanding of the export ecosystem, cross-border trade, and digital transformation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and execution-oriented.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Business, International Trade, or related field preferred.
