Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual to join our team as a Grains Sales Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of Brazilian Grains clients and will work autonomously, as part of a team, and directly engage with both existing and new or potential clients.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the sales strategy across Brazil geographies for Grains clients.
- Create value and capture revenues from the existing client base as well as develop your own new client pipeline.
- Work with brokers across Marex, and other divisions of the firm to drive synergies and potential new business opportunities.
- Liaise with Internal Stakeholders across the business (including but not limited to Credit, Compliance, Legal, Onboarding, Operations, Trading, and Risk) to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures regarding day-to-day business activity and client communication.
- Sales of OTC Commodities derivatives within the Brazil markets (with a focus on Grains clients).
- Support senior team members with coverage of existing clients, onboarding of new clients, and business development workflows.
- Over time, you will be expected to build and manage your own direct client base, contributing to the growth of the Brazil OTC Grains business, leveraging the Marex Agile Platform to attract new, sticky revenues.
- Ensure that actions and behaviours are always in line with the Company's policies & procedures in a regulated role.
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
- Work efficiently and support with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
- Strategise to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
- Ensure compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS, and/or any other relevant regulatory body.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company-determined parameters are complied with.
- Role model for demonstrating the highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
- At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct.
- Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial trading books.
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role, or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
