As a Sales Support Specialist at FLSmidth, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our reputation as a leader in the mining sector. We are committed to excellence and recognize that our success is driven by our dedicated and skilled workforce.
In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse team of over 11,700 professionals across more than 60 countries, contributing to an agile network focused on mineral processing projects globally. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge, innovate, and unlock your potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation of FLSmidth equipment in the field, ensuring proper maintenance and parts inventory control.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for FLSmidth products and services, aiming to replace competitors' offerings.
- Assess existing industrial facilities for potential upgrades to FLSmidth equipment or to replace third-party machinery.
- Stay informed about market competition and share insights with the team.
- Schedule and perform customer visits for equipment inspections and maintenance services.
- Conduct field studies and calculations in collaboration with sales engineers and technicians.
- Address customer inquiries regarding manuals, parts, and other technical information.
- Deliver presentations and training sessions on FLSmidth equipment.
- Foster a culture of safety and adhere to HSEQA standards and policies, reporting incidents as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Mining, Electrical, or Production Engineering or Technology.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and planning for mining equipment, with a background in sales or business management.
- Proficiency in Portuguese (advanced) and English (intermediate).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to identify and seize sales opportunities.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with industry standards and policies.
