**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Support Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Black Box. As a Support Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, resolving issues and answering questions related to IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT devices, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot performance issues with network devices and provide solutions to improve network performance.
- Provide device detail information to assessment management and assist with the RMA process.
- Follow established equipment testing procedures and ensure all equipment is properly labeled and configured.
- Assist users with various tasks, including making calls, meetings, and searches.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in providing end-user technical support and troubleshooting network issues.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, including XP, 7, and 10.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot routers and switches.
- Experience with Audio Visual equipment and network technologies.
- Excellent English and local language communication skills.
**Nice to Have:**
- Knowledge of anti-virus and anti-malware programs.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory user functions and Exchange.
- Ability to troubleshoot network copper and fiber cabling.
- Experience with terminating copper or fiber cabling.
