The Customer Service Associate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that every shopper feels valued and supported throughout their shopping journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Support: Assist customers with questions and recommendations, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs.
- Sales Transactions: Manage sales transactions efficiently while working assigned cash registers, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Cash and Asset Security: Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets, upholding the highest standards of integrity and responsibility.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store remains well-stocked, recover merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized environment for both customers and employees.
- Receiving and Stocking: Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks, replenishing stock according to productivity standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment by maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
- Facilities Maintenance: Take ownership of maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
- Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on resolving customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with operating a point-of-sale system, ensuring accurate handling of sales transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
