IT Support and Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT support and network operations specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our global IT services, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure services, with a focus on SD-WAN, our Global Backbone, and central hubs worldwide.

Job Description:
  • Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure services, focusing on SD-WAN, Global Backbone, and central hubs worldwide.
  • Build and maintain monitoring & logging tools to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and overall health of the network to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Document and log issues and resolution steps to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Solve problems, incidents, configurations, alerts, service requests, and monitoring related to network services and solutions in Bosch datacenter networks worldwide, working closely with engineering teams, partners, and vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Complete degree in IT, System Analysis, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in networking technologies, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, VPN, SDWAN, and Cisco Viptela.
  • Broad knowledge in basic network and security concepts and implementations, such as NAT, DNS, Proxies, Loadbalancers, ACLs, etc.
  • Experience with major hardware and software platforms from Cisco (IOS, NX-OS).
  • Preferrable: fundamental knowledge in software-driven networking and scripting (Powershell, VBA, Python, Ansible, CI/CD, GIT).
  • Language proficiency in English at an advanced level.
