Field Service Associate

At Boeing, we strive to make a positive impact on the world through innovation and collaboration. As a Field Service Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support to airline operators and maintenance providers in Brazil.

This position is based at the Boeing Field Service office at Congonhas Airport, Sao Paulo, and requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and cultural awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Boeing visitors with hotel, transportation, meetings, facility access, and customer contacts, as well as working closely with Field Service Representatives to ensure seamless customer support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in English. They will also have a strong ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Boeing visitors with hotel, transportation, meetings, facility access, and customer contacts
  • Working closely with Field Service Representatives to ensure seamless customer support
  • Coordinating training and orientation for on-site personnel
  • Providing guidance on local language, culture, and customs to Boeing personnel
  • Coordinating and distributing technical communications to airline customers as necessary
  • Providing support in booking travel arrangements and preparing expense reports
  • Preparing payment request forms for local expenses
  • Monitoring customer fleets and updating Boeing database as necessary
  • Researching information to assist customers in resolving moderately complex operation issues
  • Assisting management in coordinating, organizing, and negotiating cost for special events
  • Monitoring and reporting customer contacts and insights to support marketing and sales
  • Ordering and maintaining office facility, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies
  • Keeping the office website up to date by editing web pages, manuals, and attachments about general office information
  • Attending non-technical meetings for FSRs whenever they are unavailable

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an accredited course of study
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
  • Relevant experience working in a multi-cultural environment

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):**

  • Familiarity with local hotels and transportation in Sao Paulo region
  • Ability to influence others and understand/explain topics of moderate to heavy complexity
  • As this position is primarily customer support, the applicant must be resourceful and have an attitude of helpfulness and positivity
  • High-level cross-cultural awareness and management
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
  • Willing to learn and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Values integrity and encourages positive team dynamics
