About the Role

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager at Google Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our payment solutions by building and managing strategic partnerships with key industry players. Your expertise in business development, partnerships, and management consulting will enable you to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, assess financial and business benefits, and structure agreements with strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage partners providing payment processing or ancillary payment services
  • Lead Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and negotiations for partner selection
  • Be the ultimate point of contact for resolving complex partner escalations across different categories
  • Drive partner improvements based on scorecards, metrics, and assessments
  • Define and drive partner strategy to support industry trends and Google's product roadmap
About the Team

The Partnerships Development team at Google is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you will be right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings.

Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships
  • Experience with consumer payments, payment platforms, or similar areas
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree
  • Experience managing complex partnerships
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners
