Lead Scientist in Product Development

The Sr Product Development Scientist is responsible for leading and executing the development of critical initiatives part of the regional pipeline. The R&D technical lead will act in multiple and complex technical programs.

This role involves technical lead and execution for OTC New Product Implementation, due diligence reviews with deep technical analysis to evaluate external opportunities aligned with the need state business strategy, leading the E2E process for a new OTC development starting with product development, scale up and overseeing validation, and technical writing experience for dossiers cutting edge and R&D E2E process documentations.

  • Technical lead and execution for OTC New Product Implementation.
  • Due diligence reviews with deep technical analysis to evaluate external opportunities aligned with the need state business strategy.
  • Leading the E2E process for a new OTC development starting with product development, scale up and overseeing validation.
  • Technical writing experience for dossiers cutting edge and R&D E2E process documentations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity and ability to make difficult decisions in a complex environment.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or scientific related areas.
  • 4+ years' experience in OTC (i.e. Solids and Liquids) with Formulation and Process Development.
  • Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements especially with Anvisa and ICH.

A strong understanding of key clinical and regulatory strategies to lead and support claim substantiation approval in partnership with Regulatory and Medical affairs teams is also required.
