The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in application support, able to work independently and make informed decisions within established frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Service Ownership: The successful candidate will be accountable for specific aspects of service responsibility, including capacity planning, trend analysis, SLAs, service forums, alerting, incidents, requests, problems, knowledge, configuration, and technical roadmaps.">
  • Incident Management: This involves responding to 3rd level Service Desk incidents or requests, managing them through to resolution using problem-solving techniques, and escalating where necessary.">
  • Development and Coaching: The ideal candidate will develop and coach team members on standard operating procedures and key processes, identifying training needs and working closely with the Team Leader.">
  • Performance/Process Improvements: The successful candidate will take a lead role in driving performance and process improvements within the team, ensuring KPIs are achieved.">
  • Infrastructure Projects: They will lead the delivery or support of internal infrastructure projects, performing server maintenance tasks, and other regular support activities to ensure service effectiveness.">
  • Liaising with Suppliers: The ideal candidate will liaise with external suppliers for ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software.">
  • Reporting: They will prepare monthly reports for management on activity and infrastructure operational status.">
  • Maintenance of Compliance: The successful candidate will implement processes in a consistent manner, maintaining compliance, and ensuring all activities are performed productively, timely, and effectively.">
