This role is for a strategic leader who will oversee the company's compensation operations, develop and direct compensation strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage compensation enablement team to drive results across the corporation.
- Develop comprehensive compensation strategies and programs to achieve business goals and stay competitive in the labor market.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate and enhance the company's competitive position from a compensation perspective, identify strategies to improve recruitment and retention, and ensure alignment of compensation objectives, policies, and practices with the company's rewards philosophy.
- Investigate and resolve complex and sensitive compensation issues raised by senior management or escalated from staff.
- Oversee integration of compensation programs and processes during acquisitions.
- Provide leadership for the company's rewards and recognition philosophy and tools.
- Partner with HR team on significant job and market evaluation projects.
- Design, implement, communicate, and evaluate short-term incentive and bonus plans to motivate and reward employees.
- Select and manage department staff, set performance standards, conduct performance reviews, and make salary decisions.
- BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Accounting, or a related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role; OR 14 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
- MS degree with 8+ years of experience in a related discipline; or Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in a related discipline.
- Experience in telecommunications or media.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification.
