This role is accountable for providing expert legal guidance and strategic support on employment and labor law matters, encompassing individual and collective labor relations.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Support negotiations with unions and manage relationships with employee representatives.
- Evaluate and mitigate legal risks associated with employment practices and employee policies.
- Monitor external law firms' performance.
- Stay up-to-date on labor law developments and implement best practices and proactive compliance strategies.
To succeed in this position, you will need a thorough understanding of Brazilian labor legislation, case law, and litigation, as well as experience managing complex employee relations issues and labor disputes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgment and the ability to balance legal risks with business needs, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
