Labor Law Expert

Overview of Role:

The role involves providing expert legal advice on labor and employment law, regulations, and practices.

  • Provide legal guidance to HR and business leaders in managing complex labor issues, including contract negotiations, workforce strategy, policies, procedures, terminations, and union matters.
  • Draft and review employment-related agreements and policies.
  • Manage litigation portfolio, external counsel, and budgets related to labor matters.

Key skills include a deep understanding of labor law, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability.

A Master's degree in Employment Law or Labor Relations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with global legal teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on labor law compliance and best practices.
  • Monitor changes in labor legislation and assess their impact on the business.
Requirements:
  • JD Degree with at least 15 years of legal experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Licensed to practice law in Brazil (OAB).
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.
