Your Key RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Labor Lawyer to join our team in Brazil. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Brazilian labor laws, managing labor-related risks, and providing proactive legal guidance.
- Expertise in Brazilian labor and employment law, regulations, and practices is essential.
- Support HR leaders in managing complex labor issues, including business contracts negotiations, workforce strategy, policies, procedures, terminations, union matters.
- Draft and review employment-related agreements and policies that align with the company's goals.
- Manage litigation portfolios, external counsel, and budgets related to labor matters.
- Timely reporting and communication of updates, results, and relevant information regarding significant developments in high-volume, high-impact, or financially relevant labor litigation cases.
- Monitoring changes in labor legislation and assessing their impact on the business, developing strategic actions.
- Developing and delivering training sessions on labor law compliance and best practices.
- Collaboration with global legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies and standards.
Bachelor's Degree in Law (JD) with at least 15 years of legal experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel preferably in a multinational company.
Licensed to practice Law in Brazil (OAB).
Solid knowledge and experience in labor and employment law, preferably within a multinational or technology-driven environment.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills, including ability to explain legal concepts in a clear, simple, and compelling manner to local and global teams.
Preferred Education and ExpertiseMaster's Degree in Employment Law or Labor Relations is highly desirable.
