Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Commercial Planning Manager to join our team at Intelsat. As a key member of our commercial planning team, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales support to our global sales organization, focusing on North America and Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify customer requirements and support commercial proposals based on Intelsat's portfolio of Value-Added Services.
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities for Value Added Services in the North America and Latin America regions.
  • Track and report revenue from projects being implemented and manage associated risks.
  • Work closely with Regional Sales to identify market opportunities, recommend options, and support closing deals to drive growth for Value Added Services.
  • Expand the ecosystem of key partners to increase the footprint and range of professional services and manage these relationships.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations, supporting the regional Sales organization.
Requirements
  • A four-year college degree in Engineering or business.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Sales Engineering in the Telecommunications industry.
  • Good knowledge of the economics and operations of telecommunications networks.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and retain a positive attitude while handling multiple complex projects with demanding schedules.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software suite.
