About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients who have expressed interest in learning more about our product or appear to be strong potential customers based on our market focus.

You will qualify prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and leverage this information to align and sell our product offerings. This role spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone prospecting new clients.

Sales Development Reps will receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts.

">Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about our product
  • Make outbound calls to prospects who are deemed to reside in one of our core vertical markets
  • Share information about our product and ask questions about the prospect's business intentions
  • Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives to pursue
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  • Record prospect information in CRM database
">Requirements:
  • A university degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Prior experience working in sales (preferred)
  • A driven, enthusiastic, and hard-working nature
  • The ability to form strong business relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This is a hybrid position that requires access to an office location and expects employees to spend at least two days per week in the office.
