As a Digital Communications Associate, you will play a vital role in elevating the organization's online presence and promoting its mission through effective digital communications strategies.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining social media accounts, creating engaging content, and developing plans to grow the organization's wider social media presence and following.
In addition, you will work on posting and updating content for the organization's website and its key programs, ensuring that content is shareable, search-friendly, and provides a great user experience.
Other key responsibilities include mentoring and training team members on how to effectively use social media and digital communications, monitoring and evaluating the organization's digital communications reach on a quarterly basis, and assisting with other communications activities as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Progressive experience or demonstrable equivalent skills in digital communications, marketing, social media, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, policy, international development, or a related field.
Key qualifications include experience writing in English in a variety of formats, knowledge of best practices in digital communications, and proficiency in technical skills such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and social media platforms.
