Key Responsibilities

The Latin America Business Manager will lead the regional growth strategy of Lubrizol's Coatings business, overseeing full profit and loss and its trajectory.

Primary Duties
  • Financial Management: Manage regional profit and loss performance across local stakeholders. Develop strategic plans for short- and long-term results, including accelerated growth.
  • Commercial Strategy: Lead sales, marketing, new business development, and technical support teams to maximize market penetration in Latin America.
  • Operational Efficiency: Plan corrective actions for identified issues and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Direct investments and resource mobilization efforts to support business growth, shaping trusted relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: Lead a multifunctional team, design people management strategies, and mentor high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
  • Strategic Expansion: Develop growth plans for the PCG business unit and regional assets, managing key projects and driving profitable expansion in untapped industries.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 10 years in managerial roles, preferably within the chemical industry.

Proven track record in business management, profit and loss responsibility, and leading multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
